Summary: The A. presents in a sketch the biblical concept of man and society inspired by its perfectibility and hope in a Messiah. This theme is traced through its development in the history of inquiry in the field of social order as it is unfolded in Western philosophy from the Middle Ages to Neo-Marxism.
