Abstract: This third article deals with the thought of Lima Vaz concerning the metaphysical inflection, sparked by Duns Scotus and Guilherme d'Ockham, the emergence of the primacy of the representation of the Being, and the later appearance of medieval nominalism. The classical Greek and Christian Greek concepts of reason, world, and human being are largely transformed and this is echoed in the affirmation of God, the main issue developed by Lima Vaz, which follows the logic of this transformation in Suarez and Descartes.
