O caminho da exousia no Evangelho segundo Marcos. Perspectivas para uma Igreja sinodal

Abstract

The concept of exousia in the Gospel of Mark is studied from different perspectives - historical, semantic, narrative and exegetical - in order to explain the message conveyed to the evangelist’s community about authority and power. Jesus’ way of dealing with the exousia, throughout the Gospel narrative, reveals an attitude of service, promotion of the good and participation: Jesus’ power empowers people. This model becomes a paradigm for all disciples, both in the time of the evangelist and today, when the Church reflects on synodality.
