The theme of this reflection is the way that Simone Weil understands and practices Philosophy. It explores the originality of her thoughts in the field of philosophy developed in the first decades of the 20th century. More than finding a definition, it seeks to be related with the philosophical pathos she experienced, meaning that, the modus vivendi that it assumes to be, a philosophical exercise, a work of transformation of itself. It indicates that the philosopher, within the field of what it can be called her metaphilosophy, it means that, her thought about philosophy, does not create a systematic environment of academic demands; rather, making and living philosophy in the manner of the Greeks, as a kind of spiritual exercise, claims the profound interrelationship between reflection and life. The study also refers to the registration of the part played by contradictions and suffering, in her expression of malheur, as a soil of absolute necessity for the justification of philosophical life.
