Abstract

This Note intends to think about the limits of updating of Thomas Aquinas by Luís Carlos Silva de Sousa in his article “Knowledge and participation in the eternal reasons in Aquinas: two readings” (Síntese, v. 48, n. 151, 2021), with the hypothesis that a Thomistic metaphysics, without grounding in Aristotelian physics, becomes inconsistent and a mythology.
