Abstract

Smith presented a model of civil disobedience inspired by Rawls and Habermas. This paper presents this approach, however, with the focus on a possible response to Raz’s objection that civil disobedience is not a right. Moreover, the text explores civil disobedience as a right, in the sense of its defi nition, ground and scope.
