FREGE E A ONTOLOGIA DOS NÚMEROS

Resumen

Neste artigo, objetivo analisar a ontologia fregiana concernente aos números naturais. A tese central a ser examinada é a de que os números são objetos e não têm a natureza de propriedades ou conceitos. As razões de Frege para negar que os números possam ser identificados com alguma espécie de conceito estão longe de ser claras e merecem investigação.

Abstract: In this paper I aim to analyze Frege's ontology about natural numbers. The central thesis to be examined is that numbers are objects; they do not have the nature of properties or concepts. Frege's reasons for denying that numbers can be identified with some kind of concept are not clear, deserving further investigation.
